We’re talking about industry levels of LGBT+ acceptance..
Two different worlds, both vastly different.
- straight people: * make every movie straight and assume their infant children are already straight*
- lgbt couple: indirectly look at each other in public
- straight people: thats it. ive had it. im not homophobic but this is too much. its all in my face and i cannot do this. my heterosexual eyes are throbbing-
billboard choosing to highlight the appearance of fucking MESSI in the just like you lyric video but sleeping on the lgbt+, black lives matter, feminism, mental health, sexual assault, minorities in the industry etc. references just shows once again how fucking trash they are
happy international women’s day! this is a reminder for u to include women of colour, disabled women, LGBT+ women, women of all religions and nationalities, poor women, fat women - ALL WOMEN in your activism. you only fight for women if you fight for all of them.
Fact: bisexuals make up a majority of the LGBT population.
Fact: the majority of bisexuals are closeted.
Theory: If all bisexual people came out, straight people would no longer be the majority.
Do we really make up a majority? Cause the way we’re erased i had no idea. Like really. I thought we were in minority…
The Human Rights Commission of San Francisco released a groundbreaking report on Bisexual Invisibility in 2010 which revealed that, even though only 28% of bisexuals are out (compared to 71% of lesbians and 77% of gay men.) bisexuals out-number gays and lesbians combined, Many studies have followed which verify this data.
Whaaaaat.
